Conversely, SEO is more comprehensive. It covers everything required to rank a webpage in conventional search results, including technical setup, backlinks, and keyword targeting.
The easiest way to see the difference is that AEO helps users find the solution quickly, whereas SEO encourages users to click on your website. With search engines slowly shifting toward AI-generated responses, AEO is becoming important for brands that want visibility even when no link is clicked.
