Niwi.ai

Core Strategy:

Organic growth through content cluster SEO, search-intent-led pages, and topical authority building. This case study explains how pROwth helped Niwi.ai generate 138K impressions in 90 days by aligning product capabilities with real search demand through calculators, recipes, and structured content clusters.

About Niwi.ai

Niwi.ai is an AI-powered health and nutrition platform designed for the Indian market. The platform combines personalised diet planning, body composition analysis, nutrition calculators, and an extensive recipe library, all adapted for Indian dietary preferences and food culture. Niwi serves users seeking evidence-based guidance around weight management, macronutrient planning, and condition-specific nutrition. Its AI layer enables personalisation at scale, making expert-level nutritional guidance accessible without a physical appointment with a dietician. The platform operates in a high-intent vertical: users searching for diet plans, nutrition calculators, and health recipes have clear problems they need solved. That intent was sitting in search, uncaptured.

The Growth Challenge

When Niwi approached pROwth, the numbers told a stark story. In the three months from November 2025 to January 2026, the platform generated just 4 organic clicks and 1,905 impressions from Google Search. Brand queries were ranking poorly. Non-branded, high-intent keywords were essentially invisible.

1. No topical authority

The site lacked structured content clusters around its core topics: calculators, recipes, and diet plans. Google had no signal of expertise.

2. Brand queries are not converting

Even users searching "niwi" directly were landing at position 10+. CTR was 0%. The brand wasn't owning its own SERP real estate.

3. Weak local signals

Niwi had a Noida-based presence, but local queries like "dietician near me" and "nutritionist Noida" weren't being systematically captured.

4. Zero content indexing momentum

The site had limited indexed content. Google wasn't crawling frequently, and new pages weren't being discovered at scale.

The Ad-Free Growth Strategy

pROwth deployed its Ad-Free Accelerator model, a content-first organic growth programme built to compound over time. The philosophy is simple: instead of paying for attention, earn it by becoming the most useful resource for your audience's questions.

For Niwi, the strategy was anchored in one core insight: health and nutrition search in India is dominated by high-intent, underserved queries. People search for very specific things, "80 kg to 60 kg weight loss diet plan", "body type calculator," "carb calculator," and most of that demand was being met by generic, low-quality content.

01 Content cluster architecture

We mapped Niwi's product capabilities to search demand. Three primary clusters were identified: interactive calculators (body type, carbs, macros), weight-management intent content (goal-specific diet plans), and Indian recipe content (regional, condition-specific, lactose-free, etc.). Each cluster was built with a hub page and supporting content.

02 High-velocity content production

Starting late February, a batch of content went live at scale: calculators, blog posts, recipe pages, and diet plan guides. The goal was to trigger a Google crawl spike, signal topical authority across multiple clusters simultaneously, and create enough indexed pages to start capturing long-tail demand.

03 Brand SERP ownership

We optimised title tags, meta descriptions, and on-page structure for brand queries. The intent was to move "niwi" and "niwi ai" from position 10+ to the top 3, ensuring that anyone searching for the brand actually lands on the site. Brand clicks became the first channel to activate.

04 High-intent keyword targeting

Rather than targeting broad keywords, we identified specific, decision-stage queries where Niwi could rank quickly and convert well. "80 kg to 60 kg weight loss diet plan" is an example; it's specific, shows clear intent, and aligns directly with Niwi's core use case. These pages were built to satisfy both user intent and Google's E-E-A-T signals.

05 Technical SEO foundations

We ensured crawlability, proper internal linking between cluster pages, and structured data implementation, particularly for calculators and recipe content, which Google surfaces in rich results. Without technical health, content performance is capped.

Query Performance: What Started Ranking

The shift in query mix tells the real story. In the previous period, almost no queries drove clicks. In the current period, a diverse mix of brand, calculator, high-intent, and recipe queries has started generating traffic.

Brand CTR recovered dramatically, "niwi ai" now converts at 44% CTR at position 1.8. This alone validates the brand SERP ownership work. Meanwhile, calculators and high-intent content are entering the index and beginning to rank.

Key Takeaways

1. Organic SEO doesn't fail; most sites just don't build topical authority systematically. Niwi's site had genuine product value that search wasn't surfacing. The content cluster approach fixed that.

2. Compounding is real. November through January produced 4 clicks. February through April produced 988. The same domain, the same product, but with structured product SEO execution, the output was 247x higher.

3. High-intent, specific queries outperform broad ones. "80 kg to 60 kg diet plan" at position 2.3 is more valuable than a broad "diet plan" at position 15. Niche specificity in the health vertical is a strategic moat.

4. Brand SERP ownership is non-negotiable. Users already searching for "niwi" should always land on Niwi. Fixing brand visibility was the first revenue-protective move, before any growth work.

5. Impression surge without CTR improvement isn't a success. April's data shows the next lever clearly; the platform now has Google's attention. Converting that into clicks requires intent-matched title tags and meta descriptions at scale.
